Graffiti Removal Perth
Tags removed from brick, render and masonry while keeping damage to the wall to a minimum.
What comes off
Solvent removers push the pigment deeper into porous brick and leave a shadow. Wet media takes the paint off the surface at a pressure the substrate can handle, so the wall reads as clean rather than as a patch.
We handle one-off tags for shops and strata as well as recurring council work. Heritage masonry is tested on a hidden section first, and the pressure is set to the softest thing on the wall, not the hardest.

In short
Yes — we remove graffiti from brick, render, limestone, concrete, steel and rail stock across Perth and WA. The tags come off without leaving the ghost patch or clean square that pressure washing and paint-outs leave behind. Rapid removal is the single most effective deterrent against a wall being tagged again.
Why blasting beats painting over it
Painting over graffiti leaves a rectangle of fresh colour that never matches, and on a face-brick or heritage wall it is worse than the tag. Pressure washing pushes pigment deeper into porous masonry and produces a clean patch surrounded by dirty wall. Chemical removers work on some surfaces and stain others.
Low-pressure wet blasting removes the paint and a fraction of the surface with it, evenly, so the wall reads as a whole rather than a repair. On porous brick and limestone, where the aerosol has soaked in rather than sitting on top, it is usually the only method that genuinely works.
Substrates and constraints
Face brick and render. Straightforward, at low pressure with a test patch first. Mortar joints cut slightly faster than the brick.
Limestone. Soft and absorbent, common on Perth boundary walls. Lowest pressure we run, fine media, always a test patch — see brick and concrete restoration.
Steel, rail stock and plant. Different problem entirely: here the coating underneath usually needs to come off too, and the item is being recoated rather than restored to bare substrate.
Painted walls. If the wall itself is painted, removing the tag removes the paint under it. Usually the right answer is to strip the whole panel or wall back and start again.
Recurring sites and strata
For strata managers, councils and facility managers dealing with repeat tagging, the economics change. Speed matters more than anything — a wall cleaned within a day or two is tagged far less often than one left for a month. We hold public liability insurance, supply certificates of currency and SWMS, and can work outside trading hours where the site needs it.
Coatings and passes
| Coating | Typically | Passes |
|---|---|---|
| Aerosol tags | Spray enamel, marker | 1 |
| Roller work | Emulsion, acrylic | 1–2 |
| Etched or scratched tags | Glass, render | 1 |
| Repeat-hit walls | Multiple layered tags | 2 |
Pass counts are for planning. Tim confirms on a site look, which is free inside the Perth metro area.
How the job runs
| Stage | What happens | Typical hrs |
|---|---|---|
| Site look | Access, water, waste and containment checked | 0.5 |
| Mask and set up | Glass, fittings and adjacent surfaces protected | 1 |
| Blast | Wet media at 6–9 bar, passes to spec | 4–8 |
| Wash and inspect | Rinse, flash-rust inhibitor, handover photos | 1 |
Bare steel wants a coat within 4–6 hours in Perth humidity. We can hold the job with an inhibitor if your painter is booked for the next morning.

Common questions
Graffiti removal — your questions answered
Will the wall look patchy afterwards?
Not usually. We feather the blast beyond the tag so there is no hard edge, and on painted walls we can strip the full panel to a natural break such as a corner or expansion joint.
Can you clean heritage brick or limestone?
Yes, at low pressure with softer media. We test a hidden section first, show you the result, and stop at the point the surface is clean rather than chasing the last shadow into the substrate.
How fast can you get out?
Metro callouts are usually within two business days, and sooner for councils and managed properties with a standing arrangement. Send a photo and a suburb and Tim will confirm a time.
