Blasting in Boulder
Boulder gives us two very different jobs. On one side, mining plant, attachments, workshop steel and fleet that live in red dust and need coating systems that survive it. On the other, heritage brick, render and cast-iron verandah work on the older streets.
We batch Goldfields trips, so the more notice we have the better the travel component works out for everyone on the run.

What we blast around Boulder

Mobile or workshop
Goldfields work is mobile by necessity — we bring water, air, abrasive and containment. Water is planned for rather than assumed, and dry setups are available where water is scarce or the coating spec demands it.
Boulder and the Goldfields run
Boulder is the older half of Kalgoorlie–Boulder, and the work reflects it: mining equipment and plant components on one side of the ledger, heritage brick and stone in the townsite on the other. We batch Goldfields trips rather than driving out for a single item, so the schedule is worth asking about early.
Two local conditions matter. The heat is severe for much of the year, which shortens the working day and pushes coating windows into the morning. And the red dust gets into everything, which is precisely why containment and a wash-down before coating are not optional here. Heritage brick and stone in the older streets is soft and gets soda at low pressure with a test patch first.

Do you travel to Boulder?
Yes, as part of our Goldfields run with Kalgoorlie and Kambalda. Travel is quoted with the job and trips are batched where timing allows.
Can you blast dry if water is limited?
Yes. We run both setups, and on Goldfields jobs dry blasting with contained dust is often the practical choice.
Can you work to a mine site induction?
Yes. Inductions, permits, containment plans and coating specifications are all normal for us.
Can you handle heritage brickwork?
Yes, at low pressure with a fine media and a test panel first. If we do not think an elevation will come up cleanly we will tell you before starting.
When is your next Goldfields trip?
Ask us — we batch Kalgoorlie and Boulder work into planned runs. Booking into an existing trip is faster and cheaper than commissioning one.
Can you blast heritage brickwork in Boulder?
Yes, carefully. Old brick and stone in the townsite is soft and the mortar softer again, so it is a low-pressure soda job with a test patch and your sign-off before we run an elevation.
